Copper Canyon – Smitten Polish

Woo hoo, happy March! March is one of my favorite months, mostly because of St. Patrick’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day means a bunch of green (my favorite color), homemade soda bread and corned beef and cabbage. And spring comes in March too!

So, prepare yourself for lots of GREEN manis coming up! To ease into it, I’m sharing my last Smitten Polish with you – a sheer blue-green called ‘Copper Canyon.’

Oceanic, jellyish, with a gorgeous golden glint, Copper Canyon is unlike anything else I have in my collection. It goes on the nail smoothly, and I love the sheerness of it – it gives it an aquatic feel, like you could shrink yourself and dive right in, doing the breaststroke around bobbing golden glitters.

The name of this polish combined with the polish itself also makes me think of a desert canyon right around dusk, when the sun begins to set and everything becomes infused in a bluish haze.

And when this polish hits the sunlight, it glows from within. It’s difficult to photograph, but you can get an idea of how it seems to glow in this next photo, when my fingers start to get a little bit blurry:

Check out the glimmer on my ring finger!

Smitten Polish can be found at her etsy shop, and her blog can be found here.

  1. Oh bring on the greens! I can’t wait to see the greens and golds this month. It’s an all season colour combination for yours truly! The glimmer on this looks so good, I wonder if it would be more prominent over a black or something?
